Obituary for Connie May Hill
Connie May Hill passed away August 22, 2021, surrounded by her friends and family. She was born September 30, 1954 in Peoria, IL to Elmer Nelson and Loretta Luncsford. She is survived by her 2 children, Chris (Corey) Martin of Delavan, Derek Badgerow of O'Fallon MO, 2 brothers and 3 sisters, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She married Fritss Hill in 1989. They remained married until his passing in 2005. She later met her companion, Lowell Armstrong, in 2010. He remained a steadfast partner until her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, Rick Nelson, and her husband, Fritts Hill.

Her passion in life was her family. She spent her teenage years working to help raise her brothers and sisters, who often regard her much more than sister. Later, she carried that same passion and dedication onto her own children.

Throughout her life, Connie was often a fun and driving influence. She was a passionate boater, loving life on the water with her family and friends. She spent time with her crew of friends at the Farmhouse, holding down the now infamously dubbed "Connie's Corner" hanging with her friends and family while throwing down to the occasional Cher song.

Never quiet, never reserved, she was strong willed and carried her fight until the end. She was never one to back down and quit. She carried through her life with strength, determination, and character.

Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family to cover expenses for her fight or to a cancer charity of your choice.

The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at csmico.com
