Clifford L. Mitchell Jr., 59, of Peoria passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 at his residence.
He was born March 4, 1961 in Laredo, TX to Clifford and Nancy Stier Mitchell Sr. His parents preceded him in death.
He married Vicki Lynn Krus May 23, 2015 in Glasford; she survives. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Joseph (Samantha) Matlock, Daniel Matlock, Phillip Matlock, Charles Matlock, Michael (Heather) Matlock; seven step-grandchildren and siblings, Russell (Susan) Mitchell, Ronald Mitchell, and Debbie (Ed) Steinbach.
Clifford worked for Caterpillar, retiring in 2010. He loved to sing Karaoke, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed baseball, football, wrestling, and landscaping.
Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Jan’s Tap 3404 W. Freemont Street, Peoria, IL 61605 on Sunday, August 16, 2020.
