Obituary for Christopher Michael Smith
Christopher Michael Smith, 24, of Pekin passed away Monday, September 25, 2023, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Morgan Violet Skelton, and maternal grandfather, Michael R. Walker.
He is survived by his mother, Bobbi Keller of Pekin; father, Christopher Smith of Morton; sister, Courtney Keller and daughter, Magnolia Grace, who he loved more than anything else in the world.
Christopher not only had a close bond with his mom and sisters, but with his cousins who were more like siblings.
To know Christopher, was to love him and when he made friends, he made them for life. His brothers from another mother, Kaleb, Ryan, and Levi were exactly that, along with so many others.
Christopher was an avid football fan, especially the New Orleans Saints.
Christopher worked full time at Caterpillar and attended college full time, making the Dean’s List every semester.
Christopher was smart, quick whited and could light up a room with his beautiful smile and larger than life personality.
He was loved by so many and will forever be missed.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
