Obituary for Christopher John Andersen
Christopher John Andersen, 54, of Pekin passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born August 6, 1968, in Peoria to James H. and Sharon S. Linden Andersen. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim; second dad, Terry Grabill; infant brother, Terry (J.R.); paternal grandparents, Martin Andersen, Lucille Earle; maternal grandparents, Harold Linden, Marie Linden; adopted grandparents, Norvil Wright, Isabelle Wright and many aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon S. Grabill of Peoria; siblings, Martin R. (Beth) Andersen of Peoria, Char L. (Ken Reardon) Andersen of Peoria, Chance A. (Kim) Grabill of Peoria; seven much loved nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews.
Chris was 18 when he started his career as a Butcher at Pitsch's Meat Market in Peoria. He was a Butcher and Assistant Meat Manager at Schnucks for over 20 years.
Chris was a lifelong Cubs fan as well as a fan of all the Chicago teams. He was a “Parent” to his beloved dogs, Jack, Forest, and Apollo.
Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
