Obituary for Cheryl Lee Edwards
Cheryl Lee Edwards, 56, of Pekin passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at her residence. She was born March 14, 1961 in Peoria to Warnie Lee and Roberta Lee Spears Honsman. She married Frank James Edwards Jr. August 29, 1997 in Pekin; he survives. She is also survived by her sons, James E. (Sonya) Mullen Jr., Michael L. Mullen; step-daughters, Stacy (Steve) Keen, Shantell Edwards; grandchildren, Chloe, Logan, Aaron, Josie, Kaylee, James, Broden, James, Christopher, Sophia; great-grandchildren, Jiriaya, Gotham; mother, Roberta Lee (Bernard) Crilly and siblings, Warnie L. (Toni) Honsman Jr., Anna Robinson, Janet Bearce, Michelle Crilly Lee and Troy Crilly. She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Tammy L. Booth. Cheryl attended Glen Oak Grade School and Trewyn Junior High School. She loved playing Bingo, gardening, online poker, her dog, Cesar Lee and most of all her family. Per her wishes cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Community Church 1100 Hamilton Street, Pekin, IL 61554. Pastor Jeff Leeman will officiate. Refreshments will follow the services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to TAPS or ASPCA in her name.
