Obituary for Charles Mudd
Charles L. Mudd, 75, of Peoria passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born March 13, 1943 in Peoria to George L. and Celestia E. Steele Mudd. He married Sandra K. Feagin January 26, 1963; she preceded him in death January 21, 2011. His daughter, Belinda; parents and sister, Mary Leonard also preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Tammy (Howard Jr.) Carrier of Prairie City, Michael (Laura) Mudd of Prairie City, Patrick Mudd of Peoria; grandchildren, Ira, Adam, Bradley, Chelsey, Michael, Brianna, Holley, Patrick; great-grandchildren, Alex, Bradley Jr., Addilyn; sisters, Theresa Nixson, Patricia Baker and many nieces and nephews. Charles worked as an electrician for Caterpillar; retiring in 2000. He was an active member of St. Bernards Church. He loved fishing, camping and western movies. He enjoyed Senior World in Peoria and was very supportive as a Woodruff Warriors Sports Booster. Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
