Casey Alan Kohlmeyer, 37, of Peoria passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Sharon Healthcare Pines in Peoria.
He was born July 10, 1984, in Peoria to Fred Alan and Joyce Linda Lunsford Kohlmeyer. His father and grandparents, Doris Kohlmeyer, Fred Kohlmeyer, Annie Kohlmeyer, Ray Lunsford, and Maxine Lunsford preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother, Linda (Tim Palmer) Lunsford; sister, Linelle Kohlmeyer; step-grandparents, Chuck and Nadine Palmer; uncle, Doug Lunsford; aunt, Debbie Humphreys, and many cousins.
Growing up Casey loved sports, watching and playing them. He also loved all kinds of music and learned to play guitar and drums. He attended Washington and Pekin Schools. Casey was a lifelong Christian. He loved being with family and friends. He also loved animals.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
