Obituary for Carroll Maloney
Carroll D. Maloney, 76, of Groveland passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Pekin Hospital. He was born February 25, 1941 in Pekin to Rondal and Lucille Fulton Maloney. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Frances Maloney. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Warner Maloney; sons, Scott (Angie) Maloney, Steve (Sheila) Maloney; daughter, Kelly (Ryan) James; grandchildren, Nick, Danny, Paul, Alex, Hannah, Olivia, Austin, Ashlyn, Adelyn, Alayna; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Rondal (Yoshiko) Maloney; mother-in-law, Wanda Warner and several cousins. Carroll worked for Caterpillar for over 30 years before retiring. He loved animals, working outside and gardening. He was an avid Cardinal and Dallas Cowboys fan. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 10th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Morrissey Park in North Pekin. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association in his name.
