Obituary for Carolyn R. Cooper
Carolyn R. Cooper, 80, of Easton passed away Monday, September 4, 2023, at Carle Health Pekin.
She was born November 6, 1942, in Peoria to Theodore and Bessie Vanetten Chaney.
She married Jimmy W. Cooper July 15, 1967, in Stigler, OK; he preceded her in death in May 1984. Her parents and grandson, Jacob Wayne Cooper also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Catherine (Darren) Bailey, James (Rosemary) Cooper; grandchildren, Christian Bailey, Christopher Bailey, Jasmine (Jeffrey) Walker, Joshua Cooper and seven great-grandchildren.
Carolyn worked for Havana Health Care retiring in 2014.
She loved her family. Carolyn was a kind sweet hearted woman who served the Lord. She attended Lebanon Baptist Church for over 30 years. She loved reading, crocheting, quilting, cooking, and doing puzzles.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
