Obituary for Candy Rabe
Candy L. Rabe, 56, of Bartonville passed away at her home on Wednesday morning July 18, 2012. She was born April 21, 1956 in New Castle, IN to David and Vicky Williams. She married Patrick Rabe on December 21, 1977. He survives along with her sons, Jason (Maria Pecoraro) Rabe of San Diego, CA, Brian (Kira Couch) Rabe of Pekin, Jonathan (Amanda Lowe) Rabe of Glasford; grandchildren, Brody and Korbin Rabe of Pekin, Landen Lowe of Glasford and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and brothers, Paul Williams and Howard Williams. Candy worked for Sun Cleaners in Bartonville for 3 ½ years and was a homemaker. She loved cooking and always had an ice cold glass of tea for anyone that stopped by. She also loved fishing, camping and spending time with her family and spoiling her grandsons. Candy touched the hearts of everyone she met and will be truly missed. Cremation has been accorded and a Memorial Service will be held Sunday July 22, 2012 at the Bartonville Christian Church, 4900 W. Pfeiffer Road in Bartonville at 5p.m. Visitation will be at the church from 3p.m. to 5p.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Peoria Police Benevolent Association, P.O. Box 1402, Peoria, IL 61602 in her name.
