Obituary for Calvin "Mike" Michael Harrison
Calvin “Mike” Michael Harrison, commonly known as “Calvin on Alvin” passed away peacefully July 31, 2023 despite his tremendous fight against years of illness and disease. Born on September 19, 1949 in Lincoln, IL to Lois (Henry) and Harold Harrison. He proudly served in the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Pam, favorite daughter, Jessica and favorite son, Wesley (Jen), five grandchildren which he adored and cherished with every ounce of his being, Taylor, Haley, Michaela, Bradley and Graham and his best friends & brothers, Jerry and Brad.
Mike retired in 2015 from Velde Ford in Pekin, IL as a Parts Counterman. He spent many years behind the counter handing out car parts, sharing laughs and making lifelong friendships with customers and co-workers alike.
Mike enjoyed fishing, drawing, mushroom hunting, racquetball, planting & harvesting his garden, his 1966 Ford Mustang and the weekly tradition of spending Thursday evenings unwinding with his brothers and whomever else showed up, listening to their favorite albums and watching sports on TV.
Donations can be made in his name to Hopedale Medical Foundation in Hopedale, IL.
Cremation rites accorded and per his request, there will be no services.
