Bruce Eugene Koenig, 72, of Pekin passed away Friday, February 2, 2020 in South Pekin.
He was born February 11, 1947 in Davenport, IA to Eugene and Evelyn Haigh Koenig.
His parents and brother, Phillip Koenig preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Steven J. Koenig and sister, Lacy Koenig.
Bruce served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and worked as an Air Traffic Controller.
He enjoyed traveling and loved his family and friends.
Per his wish’s cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
