Obituary for Bruce Brown Jr.
Bruce Brown Jr., 50, of Peoria passed away at 10:56 a.m. on April 20, 2023, at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria with his children and family by his side.
He was born July 15, 1972, in Peoria to Bruce W. and Amanda Ragan Brown. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; his mother, Amanda Brown; daughter, Daisy Brown; aunt, Edna Wacker and uncle, David Sweatt.
Surviving is his father, Bruce Brown Sr.; his children, Taylor Brown, Jacob Brown; brothers, Brian Brown, Bradley (LaVette) Brown; grandchildren, Liam Brown, Jude Brown, Penelope Brown, Harper Myers, and nephews, Bryston Brown and Brian Brown II.
He was always known for making everyone laugh, he loved to make jokes, play pranks, and tell stories. He loved country music and to sing you’d almost always hear him singing. He loved to fish, as well as going to Six Flags and Cubs games. Bruce grew up playing every sport he could, he was a great athlete and always very active and social. He loved his family as best as he could, he will be greatly missed.
Cremation has been accorded and a private burial of his remains will be held at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria with his family. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
