Brian “Bub” Walters III, 39, of Pekin, Illinois passed away on November 8, 2025, after unexpected complications from his courageous battle with epilepsy.
Born in Peoria, Illinois, on April 29, 1986, to Brian Walters Jr. and Kathy Walters, Brian lived a life defined by love, humor, and an unshakable devotion to his family. With a heart as big as his smile and a mischievous spirit that could brighten any room, Brian had a gift for making everyone around him feel special and seen.
He was a devoted son, a loyal brother, and a true friend — someone whose compassion and warmth left an impression on all who knew him. His family is endlessly proud of the man he was, the love he gave, and the joy he brought into their lives.
Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Brian Walters Sr. and Gloria Schore Walters-Price, as well as by his father, Brian Walters Jr. He is survived by his beloved mother, Kathy Walters, and his lifelong best friend and brother, Les Walters, along with many family members, friends, and loved ones who will carry his memory forever.
He loved his family dearly. He enjoyed video games, paint ball, computers and graphic design.
In his passing, Brian gave the ultimate gift — the gift of life. Through his selfless decision to be an organ donor, his legacy of generosity continues, bringing hope and healing to others.
Brian’s life reminds us to hold our loved ones close, cherish every moment, and consider giving the gift of life to others — just as he did.
