Obituary for Brett Bishop
Brett A. Bishop, 60, of Peoria passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at home in the loving arms of his family and his loving wife of 39 years. He was born March 23, 1958 in Peoria to Richard A. and Georgia R. Buhs Bishop. He married Katherine A. Behm March 19, 1982 in Peoria; she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Samantha Bishop; grandson, Jacob Bishop who he helped raise from birth; grandchildren, Georgia Rose Bishop, Barbara Ann Bishop, Mason Alexander Bishop; siblings, Theresa Bishop, Vicky Potter, Kristy Minnix, Penny Bush and many nieces and nephews. His parents and son, Thomas A. Bishop preceded him in death. Brett was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved working on his antique cars, camping and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
