Brenda Sue Risinger, 57, of Tremont, IL passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.
She was born September 25, 1963 in Tazewell County, IL to Paul Edwin Mitchell and Darla Jean Bolin. Her mother; grandparents; sister, Corrina Lloyd and nephews, Trenton Mitchell and Adam Cassidy preceded her in death.
She is survived by her father, Paul Mitchell of Mackinaw, IL; brother, Paulie Mitchell of Mackinaw, IL; daughters, Christina (Jeremy) Williams of Mackinaw, IL, Kimberlee (George) Lindauer of Midland, MI, Cassandra (Michael) Taylor of Pekin, IL; twelve grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that became family.
Brenda once said her daughters were her rainbow and her grandkids were her pot of gold. She was a staple and the Shell Station in Tremont. She was such a caring full of love woman. She made numerous donations including St. Jude, WTVP and Salvation Army. Brenda knew no stranger. She always had a smile and would be an ear or offer a hug to anyone. Her contagious smile and laugh could light up a room. She always offered support to anyone in need. Brenda would want us to remember the great times and try to love one another. She was an amazing mother and the best grandma. Brenda loved owls, butterflies, and the simple things in life.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
