Brenda May Hankins 71 passed away on Friday September 26, 2025, at 1:16pm surrounded by her family. Born May 28,1954 to William J & Louise Davis She leaves to cherish 5 living children Mary Marfell of Peoria, Jenny (Billy) Lynn of Dexter MO. Wendy Adams of Creve Coeur, Nancy (Michael) Adams of Creve Coeur, and Robert Hankins of Peoria. She has 15 grandchildren Brandi Marfell, Lashley (Paul) Zalazinski, Christopher (Courtney) Marfell, Nathan Marfell, Melissa (Jon) Timex, Brandon Lynn, Kodi Lynn, Katie (Christian) Anderson, Makenize (Hunter) Eyer- Flores, Gloria Riddle, Robert (Kyla) Hankins, Jarred Hankins, Xavier, Abby Hankins, Bella, Starlynn, Sarah Figgers. 14 great grandchildren Dakotis, Zander, Landon, Hunter, Payton, Brandon, Mason, Isiah, Jon, Zander, Paisley, Jayden, Jaiden & Serenity Bell. She was proceeded in death by 1 daughter Candy. Her parents, 1 sister Pam Decker Voss. A niece and 2 nephews Brenda was of the catholic faith She worked as a CNA for many years last working at Maple Lawn in Eureka. She loved to play bingo and in the later years she loved playing cards. In fact she was a part of a 4 lady group that called themselves “the Golden Girls”. Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois, Pekin Il will be in charge of the cremation and a Celebration Of Life will be on Wednesday October 1, 2025 from 4-8 at the North Pekin Village Hall located at 206 Lincoln Blvd North Pekin we also want to send a special thanks for the exceptional care that she received from the 3200floor at OSF and the love and care she received at the loft of Peoria.
