Obituary for Brenda Pullum
Brenda K. Pullum (Godby) age 61, of Topeka died January 20th, 2018 at her daughter’s home due to years of progressive respiratory disease.
She was born January 10th, 1957 to James (Duke) and Rachel Bennett Evans, raised by James and Iris Godby of Delavan.
She will be remembered by her children Heather(David) McGlothlin of Galva, Rachelle(Brian) Lund of Minot, ND, Jerry Ray (Peggy) Pullum, of West Plains, MO, April (Brad) Pullum of East Peoria and Amanda Jones(Bradley) of Topeka. Her Mothers Iris Godby and Rachel Myers, her sister Jeanine (Fred) Allen, Grandchildren, Sydney, Madison, Jackie, McKenzie, Parker, George, Daniel, James , Robert, Austin, Hunter and two Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son James L. Pullum, her Fathers James Godby and James Evans, Grandmother Dorothy Bennett and her children’s father Jerry Pullum.
She loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed riding horses, playing mandolin and singing, gardening, sewing and she liked to dance. She was Mom or Grandma to many. Her door was always open and no one ever left hungry.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The American Legion, 118 E 3rd st, Delavan, IL on February 3rd from 1pm to 4pm.
