Obituary for Betty White
Betty B White 68 of Washington passed away on Tuesday February 9, 2010 at Snyder Village in Metamora. Born in Steubenville, OH on February 26, 1941 to Henry and Velma Bobby. She married Lawrence A. White in Columbus, OH on April 3, 1965, he survives. Also surviving are her son Matthew (Kim) White, Johnson, IA, sister Pat (Jon) Hussey of Indianapolis, IN and grandchildren: Alexandra, Jason and Cameron. Her parents, son Andrew and sister Diane preceded her in death. Betty worked as a teacher from 1962 to 2009, the last 25 years at I.C.C where her last position was manager of the Math Lab Tutoring Center. Some achievements in her life were her teaching career and assisting her son Andrew through schooling at P.A.R.C. , Washington Public Schools, I.C.C., I.S.U., and then graduating from the University of Illinois Law School. A memorial service will be held at her church, Washington Presbyterian on Saturday February 13, at 11 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior to the service also at the church. Burial of her cremains will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Washington Presbyterian Church.
