Betty Jane Smith 90, of Chillicothe passed away Friday May 27, 2011 at her residence. She was born September 12, 1920 in Peoria to Arthur and Anna Wetzel Semelroth. She married Roy Nelson Smith on September 30, 1939 in Des Moines, IA. He preceded her in death January 30, 1991. She was also preceded in death by her son; Roy N. Smith Jr., 2 brothers; Arthur Semelroth, Eugene Semelroth and 2 sisters; Elner Dreinhoff and Adeline Navarro. She is survived by her son; Edward A. (Bonnie) Smith, 2 nieces; Penny Mabee, Anna Foster, special son; Michael Bundy, granddaughters; Theresa (James) Gobert, Shelly Smith, grandsons; Clinton Smith and Joe Marchand. She is also survived by her 2 great-granddaughters; Tiffany Gobert, Alex Gobert, and 2 great-grandsons; Zak Rabani and Jake Rabani. Betty worked for Caterpillar for 30 years. A special thanks for the care provided by Michael. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice or the American Heart Association.
