Obituary for Betty Langdon
Betty J. Langdon, 79, of Pekin passed away Saturday November 3, 2012 at Pekin Hospital. She was born October 7, 1933 in Urbana, Ohio to Albert and Mabel Bell Smith Holycross. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her significant other, Richard Schnarr of Pekin; son, Frank (Marcy) Crable of Wilmington, Ohio; daughters, Angie Huennerkopf of Springfield, Ohio and Pam Eanes of Springfield, Ohio. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty worked at County Market for many years. She previously lived in California and spent quality time with Richard and different motor cycle organizations while she lived there. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 6 p.m. with visitation two hours prior at Abts Mortuary in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association in her name.
