Berthena Richmond, 70, of Peoria passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024, at her residence.
She was born July 27, 1954, in Marianna, AR to Emory and Irene Dunlop Morris.
She married Durey Michael Richmond, Jr.; he preceded her in death July 31, 2024. Her parents; brothers, Bobby Morris, Willie Morris; nephew, Bobby Morris Jr. and niece, Kimra Richmond also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Ebonye A. Burch, Anthony Richmond; grandchildren, Marious Richmond, Rayen Johnson, Melvin Burch II; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Mila Rose; siblings, Marilyn Johnson, Lacrystal Beauregard; cousin and caregiver, Pamela Jackson; caregiver, Crystal Scott; nieces and nephews, Logan Tucker, David Morris, Keona Johnson, Desiree Morris, Willie Morris Jr., Francis Richmond and Leonard Richmond.
Berthena worked as a tax accountant, retiring in 2004.
She loved her family and attending church. She also loved playing the lottery and winning.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
