Obituary for Bernadine L. Ing
Bernadine L. Ing 87 of Pekin passed away on September 10, 2008 at Amy’s Country Manor in Pekin. Born in Peoria on June 25, 1921 to Jacob and Mary Rockhold Sturm. She is survived by her children; Nancy (Jack Davis) Shoultz, Steve (Laura Basehoar) Ing, Jan Ing and Stan (Gloria Jean) Ing, sister Mary Lou Sisk and brother Jake (Pat) Sturm all of Pekin. Also surviving are her many grand, great grad and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, grandson and a brother. Bernadine is a retired Nurse Technician, working for Bartonville State Hospital and Galesburg Hospital and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held on Saturday September 20, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin, Father Pat Fixsen will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Abts Mortuary.
