Obituary for Berlene Turner
Berlene Helen Turner 73, of Bartonville formerly of Yates City, passed away peacefully at home, with her loving family and friends by her side at 12:15 a.m., on Tuesday May 25, 2010. She was born April 4, 1937, in Elmwood to Berl and Helen Bowman Maxwell. She is survived by her four Children; Dean (Cathy) Turner, Terry Turner, Sherry Turner all of Bartonville and Janene Stillson of Peoria. She is also survived by five grandchildren; Kimbra (Steve) Baker, Brandon Turner, Catrina (Steve) Shannon, Stephanie (Tommy) Harkness, Laura (Kenny) Atchley, eight great-grandchildren, one brother Bernard (Linda) Maxwell of Arizona and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers; Roy, Ray and Jim Maxwell and one sister Mary Lee Maxey. Cremation has been accorded and a Memorial Luncheon will be held on Sunday May 30, 2010 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Post #979, 4501 S. Airport Rd., Bartonville, Il.
