Obituary for Bennett B. Vogel
Bennett B. Vogel, 65, of Creve Coeur passed away Friday, December 30, 2022, at his residence.
He was born February 10, 1957, in Pekin to Gerhard and Wally Blankenburg Vogel. His parents and sisters, Frederica Dengler and Nancy Johnson preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Caleob (Molly) Vogel; granddaughter, Mabel Vogel; siblings, Pete Vogel, Lothar (Evainda) Vogel, Shirley (James) Maddalozzo and many nieces and nephews.
Ben served in the U.S. Navy and worked for Tazewell County Animal Control, retiring in 2010.
He loved his family and his granddaughter. He also loved his many dogs, animals, music, singing, and riding motorcycles.
Cremation has been accorded and in lieu of services family is requesting a donation to TAPS animal shelter in memory of Ben.
The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at csmico.com
