Obituary for Bella Frye
Bella Frye, our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother took the final journey to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 16th, 2014 at the age of 97. She was born on September 3rd, 1916 to Catherine and Anthony Balbinot. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank Frye; two sisters; and four brothers.
Her family and friends will remember her skills in the kitchen. She began sharing her love for food at the Lido Restaurant in Chillicothe and years later at the Club LaCon in Lacon. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Ben) Steele of Scottsdale, AZ, and Susie (Jim) Lambrecht of Lacon; grandchildren Shandon (Jen) Nixon of Woodstock, IL, Darcy (Ross) Kempf of Peoria, IL and Stephanie Schwartz of Chandler, AZ; and five great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heritage Manor of Chillicothe. The family would like to thank everyone who took such wonderful care of her in the final years of her life. A celebration of life for Bella will be held at a later date.
