Obituary for Becky (Bramer) Hart
Becky (Bramer) Hart, 63, of Morton formerly of Canton, IL, passed away around 1:30pm on September 20,2020 at Aperion Care Morton Villa after a courageous battle with the autoimmune disease Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO, a condition in the same family as Multiple Sclerosis).
She is survived by her daughter, Meagan Arnett of Peoria, IL; two brothers, Boyd (Kathy) Bramer of Astoria, IL and her twin Brian Bramer of Vermont, IL; one sister, Holly Burgess of Canton, IL; stepfather George Schrodt of Colchester, IL; two step-brothers, Tim (Gina) Schrodt of Canton, IL and Daniel Schrodt of LaGrange, OH; close family friend Cindi Laswell of Canton, IL; and several nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Schrodt and two brothers, Bradley Bramer (infant) and Marion Schrodt.
Becky was a graduate of VIT High School. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, bowling, TV game shows and exploring culinary delights with her family & friends. She worked for many years at Intermet (Wagner) Havana, IL before the plant's closing several years ago, and she deeply enjoyed her work in Human Resources. She had also worked in the Maintenance Department of Spoon River College in Canton, IL and at First National Bank (now Commerce Bank) in Peoria, IL.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date in lieu of visitation and funeral services.
Memorials for Becky may be sent to her daughter, Meagan Arnett.
