Obituary for Barbara Pruitt
Barbara J. Pruitt, 77, of Pekin passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at her residence. She was born July 30, 1942 in Manzanola, CO to Albert and Alice Haines Robertson. Her stepson, Michael Pruitt; parents and siblings, Billie Robertson, Hunter Robertson, Merl Robertson and Joyce Williams preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Anthony Scott (Audrey) Pruitt, Timothy (Sabre) Pruitt, Daniel (Linda) Pruitt, Treena (John) Kleinman; grandchildren, Tiffani (David) Santos, Aleshia (Justin) Egan, Jennifer Lair, T’onna Robbins, Terry Lair Jr., Jordan Pruitt, Michael Pruitt, Deidre (Wesley) Bussey, Katelyn Pruitt, Marshal Pruitt, Sarah Pruitt, Andrew (Danielle) Kleinman, Cynda (Zachary) Griffin; 15 great-grandchildren and siblings, Gerald Robertson, Thomas Robertson and Betty Glisson. Barbara retired from Caterpillar. She enjoyed parties, holidays, the outdoors, looking at her birds, squirrels and all the animals outside. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She was an accomplished seamstress who loved to sew. Barbara loved her family and enjoyed her grandchildren. Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held.
