Obituary for Barbara Anne Bergmann
Barbara Anne Bergmann, 83, of Pekin passed away Friday, August 11, 2023, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born July 2, 1940, in Omaha, NE to Ralph Edward and Laura Mary Flood Jones.
She married Dennis Gene Bergmann; he preceded her in death March 6, 1992. Her parents; brothers, Robert Jones, William Jones Sr., Thomas Jones and grandson, Blake Edward Dreier also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Steven L. “Rusty” (Barbara) Dreier, Scott E. Dreier, Teresa Anne McDonald; grandchildren, Dameon Jon Smith, James “JJ” Dreier, Kendrick “KC” Dreier, Tara Smith, Jessica Anne Jenkins, Rachael McDonald, Zechariah McDonald, Jozsua McDonald, Chance McDonald, Chandler McDonald, and many great-grandchildren.
Barbara worked for the U.S. Postal Service retiring in September 2018.
She loved her family very much and loved being with her family for the holidays. She enjoyed diamond painting, ceramics, sewing, cooking, and traveling.
Cremation has been accorded and private services will be held.
