Obituary for Barbara A. Bastian
Barbara A. Bastian, 85, of Washington passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in East Peoria.
She was born October 30, 1937, in Glasford to Earl and Margaret Pruitt Tyler.
She married George Bastian; he preceded her in death in 2013. Her parents; four grandsons and sisters, Patricia Pitts and Betty Golden also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Debra (Arnold) Petersen, Robert (Christine) Pitts, Martin (Darlene) Pitts, Michael (Lori Galyean) Pitts; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and brother, William (Gail) Onken.
Barbara loved her family. She enjoyed game shows, court tv, video games, camping, fishing, gardening, and flowers.
Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
