Obituary for Arnold L. Petersen
Arnold L. Petersen, 77, of East Peoria passed away Friday, July 26, 2023, at his residence.
He was born February 28, 1947, in Peoria to Arnold J. and Vivian R. McKenzie Petersen. His parents and son, Matthew T. Petersen preceded him in death.
He married Debra J. Ragsdale on September 17, 1982, in Tazewell County; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Scott (Kris) Petersen, Christopher (Carrie) Petersen, Jeffrey Petersen and grandchildren, Colton, Cody and Grace.
Arnold served in the U.S. Army and worked for AT&T retiring in 1999.
He loved his family very much. Arnold also loved shooting, traveling, watching the news and feeding the animals. He was very patriotic and enjoyed politics.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in his name.
