Obituary for Anna Sanguedolce
Anna “Riccardina” Sanguedolce, 90, of Pekin, IL passed away Sunday July 8, 2012 at Pekin Hospital in Pekin, IL. She was born January 26, 1922 in Sala, Italy the oldest of eight children to Tommaso and Domenica Capasso Sanguedolce. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lina Fusari of Italy; brother, Giovanni “John” Sanguedolce of Minnesota and brother-in-law, Wayne Burgener of Illinois. She is survived by her siblings, Lucia (James) Baysinger, Michele (Antonietta) Sanguedolce, Tina (August) Gingotti, Maria (Domenico) Ianucci and Rita Burgener. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Anna was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin, IL. A visitation will be held Thursday July 12, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin, IL with a Rosary at 11 a.m. A funeral mass will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin, IL at 12 noon. Fr. James Pankiewicz will officiate. Burial will follow the services at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin, IL. Memorials may be made to the family to assist with arrangements.
