Obituary for Anna S. Wise
Anna S. Wise, 83, of Manito passed away on Friday October 5, 2012 at her residence surrounded by family. Born in Furth, Germany on March 21, 1929 to Konrad and Elisabeth Loslein Riegelein she married Bennie H. Wise on March 19, 1950 in Furth. He preceded her in death on November 5, 1975, also proceeding where her parents and grandson, Michael Wise. Surviving are her children: Harold (Jana) Wise of Chillicothe, Terry Wise of Hayworth, Elizabeth Farris of Dawson Springs, KY, Tony (Leatha Backus) Wise of Spring Lake, grandchildren; Steven, Angie, Jerry, Curtis and Brittany, great grandchildren; Shelby and Gracie, brother George (Cheryl) Riegelein, and nephews Eric and Jeff. Anna was a homemaker, a 62 year Spring Lake Missionary Church member, affiliated with the Tazewell County Home Extension, enjoyed quilting and knitting and was the best German cook. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday October 10, at 3 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior at the Spring Lake Missionary Church, 6779 Townline Rd. Manito, IL. Rev. Tom Schakat will officiate. Memorials may be made to her church.
