Obituary for Anita L. Thewlis
Anita L. Thewlis, 63, of Pekin passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at Timbercreek Rehab & Health Care in Pekin.
She was born March 7, 1960, in Peoria to E.R. and Anita Yvonne Morris Gomer. Her son, Dominick Wayne Thewlis; parents and brothers, Wendell Gomer and E.R. Gomer preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons, Terry L. Beach Jr., Devin Allan Thewlis; granddaughter, Christina Thewlis; brother, Robert (Marcie) Gomer; nephew, Wendell Allen Gomer II; niece, Tania Jean Gomer and numerous cousins and friends.
Anita loved her family very much. She will be missed by all who loved her. She loved collecting Coca Cola memorabilia and wearing cheetah prints.
Cremation has been accorded and a private celebration of life will be held.
