Obituary for Amy Peterson
Amy M. Peterson, 47, of Mapleton passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at her residence.
She was born November 21, 1972 in Peoria to Everett and Patricia Downing Defreitas.
She married David L. Peterson November 6, 1993 in Peoria; he survives. She is also survived by her daughters, Elizabeth (Jerod) Peterson, Rebecca (Michele) Peterson, Belinda Peterson; granddaughter, Paisleigh Peterson; mother, Patricia Defreitas and sister, Tina Lanan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Defreitas.
Amy worked in computer programing for Pekin Insurance retiring in 2000. She enjoyed watching her children play sports and gaming on her cell phone. She loved her family, especially her granddaughter.
Per the families wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
