Obituary for Alphonse Landry
Alphonse T. Landry, 83, of East Peoria passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Farmington Country Manor. He was born December 25, 1934 in Fitchburg, MA to Thomas and Giovannia Diprima Landry. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Al Landry Jr., Julie (Dan) Light, Max (Beth) Landry, Jenny (Brett) Oakman; grandchildren, Joseph, Ashley, Brandon, Carli, Danielle, Hunter, Jade, Kortney, Dalton, Alayna and great-grandchildren, Tristan and McKenna. Alphonse served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a Superintendent for Union Labor Local 165; retiring in 2004. He was an avid golfer with five holes in ones. He loved spending time with his family and dogs. Cremation has been accorded and a private family celebration of life will be held.
