Obituary for Alice (Sally) Nash
Alice L. “Sally” Nash, 82, of Peoria passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 6:15 p.m. at Cornerstone Rehab and Healthcare Center in Peoria Heights, IL. She was born April 3, 1930 in Kewanee, IL to Robert and Gladys Smith Nash. She is survived by three close friends, Bill and Marylou Crocker and Lois Clausen. She was preceded in death by her parents and one close friend, Helen Feury and foster parents, Reverend and Mrs. Bertsom Betteridge. Alice was a long time nurse at Belwood Nursing Home. She was a member and Deacon of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Neighborhood House, Friendship House, South Side Mission, Super Seniors of the Christian Center and Salvation Army Senior Club all in Peoria. Alice lived and volunteered at South Side Manor for the last 23 years. Cremation has been accorded and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Presbyterian Church 1001 S. Greenlawn Ave., Peoria. Reverend Ralph Barnett and Reverend Chuck Wilcox will officiate. Memorials may be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church in her name.
