Agnes E. Pate 96, of Peoria passed away on Friday Sept 12, 2008 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born in Germantown, IL on October 13, 1911 to John and Teresa Whistle Zilch. Agnes is survived by her children; Jessie (John) Conner of Virginia, Marian (Dan) Reese of Morton, Richard A. Pate of Florida, Elizabeth “Betty” (Kenneth) Elias of Peoria, Shirley Blake of Iowa, Bernard (Mary) Pate of Sunnyland, Wendy Croxton of East Peoria, brother William Zilch of Bartonville, sister Sister Teresa John Zilch of St. Louis and many grand and great grandchildren. Her husband John A. Pate, 1 brother, 4 sisters and 3 grandchildren preceded her in death. Agnes was a Homemaker and belonged to St. Monica’s in East Peoria and Blessed Sacrament in Morton were a memorial mass will be held on Wednesday Sept 17, at 10 a.m. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
