Obituary for Steven Clark
Steven W. Clark, 65, of Chillicothe passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. He was born March 27, 1952 in Galesburg to Dale and Darlene DeFoer Clark Sr. His father and brother, John Boland preceded him in death. He is survived by his parents, Darlene (John) Boland; daughter, Sabrina (Brian) McGrath; grandchildren, Christopher and Joseph McGrath, Lydia and Bailey Pierson; sisters, Paula (Gene Pratt) Mueller, Joyce (Jack) Reck, Karen Puyear, Pam Clark, Deb (Mike) Taylor; brother, Dale Clark and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Steve worked for Caterpillar. His hobbies included model trains and collecting antiques. He enjoyed photography and was always taking pictures. He loved to fish, go hiking and travel. National Parks were one of his favorite destinations. He never stopped telling people about his travels and encouraged them to travel and see places too. Jamaica was one of his favorite adventures. Steve had a rich sense of humor. He was a total and complete family man who loved his family very much. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at the Brimfield United Methodist Church 135 Galena in Brimfield IL on Saturday, March 3rd 2018. Visitation at 10 am, Service at 11 am with luncheon to follow. David Mustain will be officiating the service. Memorials can be made to the IL Cancer Care center in Peoria IL or the American Cancer Society. Steve’s family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at the IL Cancer Care in Peoria and the staff at Unity Point Methodist Hospital in Peoria for all their help and support to Steve and his family throughout his illness.
