Obituary for Ronald Caruso
Ronald L. Caruso, 76, of Lowpoint passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 15, 1941 in Peoria to William and Arla Fries Caruso. His parents; daughter, Rhonda Caruso and brother, Mike Caruso preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Chad Caruso of Pekin; daughter, Carla (Ron) Promisson of Bushnell; grandchildren, Felicia Stone, Tory Robards, Jimmy Cross, Travis Caruso, Coleman Caruso, Kyle Promisson, Amanda Promisson, Jessica Kaffer; great-grandchildren, Kelei Leab, Karson Leab, Emma Kaffer, Ella Kaffer, Landyn Robards, Haven Baughn; sister, Lynn Caruso; sister-in-law, Linda Caruso and many nephews. He is also survived by four special friends, Gretchen, Angie, Holly and Kelly who cared so greatly for him. Ronald served in the U.S. Army and worked as a truck driver; retiring in 2002. He loved Jesus. He was a boxer, rodeo rider, woodworker and a published author. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Christian Assembly Church 521 NE Monroe Street Peoria, IL 61603 at 6 p.m. with burial on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Washington Cemetery. Reverend Terry Goode will officiate.
