Obituary for Roger A. Hardwick
Roger A. Hardwick, 69, of East Peoria passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born November 7, 1947 in Canton to Earl and Doris Beadles Hardwick. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Sue (Bob) Davis of Canton; nieces, Andrea (Tony) Lane of Piper City, Leann Davis of Normal; nephew, Eric (Kathy) Davis of Kankakee; great-nieces, Raele Lane, Grace Davis, Hope Davis and great-nephews, Hayden Lane, Isaiah Davis and Josiah Davis. Roger served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and received the Purple Heart. He worked for XPack. He collected LP’s and had a large collection. He was a sketcher and did caricatures. He was also an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Covenant Community Church 2075 N. Main Street in Canton at 11 a.m.
