Obituary for Michael Hammond
Michael Anthony Hammond, 39, of Peoria passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. He was born August 6, 1977 in Peoria to Allison and Karleen Smith Hammond. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Janice and Al Behymer. He is survived by his sons, Bryan Hammond, Adam Hammond; mother, Karleen (Jim) Heinz; father, Al (Ginny) Hammond; sisters, Kami Hammond, Kasi Roberts; brothers, Eric (Brittainy) Hammond, Jason Heinz, Kristopher (Anne) Hammond; fiancée, Samantha Heskett; numerous nieces and nephews; grandmother, Jane Carlock, grandfather, Richard Smith and uncle, Guy Smith. He is also survived by his beloved pets, Blanche, Rose, L’il Finger, Tigger and Maggie. Michael worked as a gaming programmer. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Most of all he loved spending time with his sons, bowling and playing video games. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at BG’s 4202 W. Pfeiffer Road, Bartonville, IL 61607. Covered dishes are welcome. Memorials may be made to a fund at Southside Bank for his children Bryan and Adam.
