Obituary for Mary Trapp
Mary “Anna Lee” Trapp, age 88 years old, died Sunday 7/29/2018, at Cornerstone Rehabilitation Center. Born October 20, 1930 in Bartonville, Illinois to Nicholas Leo and Eula Elvina Crider Trapp, she married Harlan “Joe” Bruce in January of 1948 in Peoria. She later married Faustino Garza in 1973. Surviving is a son, Gregory N. Bruce of Peoria, 3 grandsons (Christopher, Shawn, and David), and 3 great grandchildren (Patrick, Hannah, and Nick). She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Russell and Roland Trapp. She worked for many years at Oakford Super Valu in Bartonville as the donut maker. Moving to Corpus Christi, Texas, she worked for 14 years at Spohn hospital in nursing administration. These were perhaps the happiest years of her life. There will be no services per her wishes. Cremation has been accorded. Burial of the ashes will be at a later date. She was loved dearly and will be missed.
