Obituary for Lena Grace Schlipf
Lena Grace Schlipf, 73, of Eureka passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at her residence. She was born October 4, 1943 in Lincoln to Leonard Aloyisius and Rozanna Marie Greitman Meyers. She married Richard LeRoy Black Sr., he preceded her in death. She later married James Andrew Schlipf; he also preceded her in death. Her son, Richard LeRoy Black Jr.; parents; brothers, Leonard Michael Meyers and Donald Eugene Meyers also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Penny Ann Turner; son, Brian Keith Schlipf; step-daughters, Kelly Shaffer, Pamela Reinhold; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Diana Kay Custer, Rebecca Ann Meyers and her precious cats, Zeva, Fluffy, Blackie and Prince. Lena worked at Caterpillar for over 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed her cats, gardening, flowers and the outdoors. Cremation has been accorded and private graveside services will be held.
