Obituary for Albert Hitesman
Albert J. Hitesman, 60, of Peoria Heights passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born February 3, 1958 in Valparaiso, IN to Alvia and Virginia Mace Hitesman. He married Lisa A. Gusler January 22, 1997 in Peoria; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Rona (Donald) Krus, Dan (Angel) Gusler, Ben Hitesman, Kristina Hitesman, Abe Hitesman; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Emma (Lester) Bowers, Nancy (Pap) Chaney, David (Melody) Hitesman and many nieces and nephews. His parents and brother, Delbert Hitesman preceded him in death. Albert worked for Service Master. He was an avid drummer and St. Louis Cardinal fan. He loved music; his favorite artists were Johnny Winter, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top and the Allman Brothers Band. He deeply loved his family and will be greatly missed. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Eagles 1704 S. East Lane, Peoria, IL 61605.
